Chiru-Pawan face-off?

The alleged rift between brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, the two powerful faces of Andhra Pradesh politics and films, is back to the fore. This time the rift seems to be out in the open when the latter avoided a vis-a-vis with the former during the muhurat of Varun Tej's debut film that took place Today (Feb 27, 2014) in Hyderabad.

Amid reports of Chiranjeevi vying up for the Chief Minister post, Pawan Kalyan avoiding a face-to-face interaction with his elder brother gained much significance in both film and political circles. That's not all. Taking everyone by surprise, Pawan abruptly decided to walk out of the event without informing Chiru and others. "Pawan Kalyan left the venue even before Chiru's speech to media and fans," said an eye-witness. This even surprised many of the fans who were present there.

Pawan is apparently quite saddened the way Chiru is heading in politics. Kalyan is of the opinion that Chiru must quit his Union Ministry post and quit Congress as the party played with the sentiments of people of both regions. "Pawan had been reluctant to the merger of Praja Rajyam Party into Congress. He always wanted Chiru to stay away from Congress. If Praja Rajyam Party would have been alive now, the scene of present Andhra Pradesh and the upcoming elections would have been totally different. If Chiru is so much in love with Congress, he should have acted like Aam Aadmi Party who just had a tie-up, rather than merging it. Above all, still Chiru is with Congress which might not go well with Pawan. Kalyan might be wanting Chiru to quit Congress and restart Praja Rajyam Party at least now," pointed out a political observer. Andhra Pradesh politics would turn interesting if Chiru resumes PRP. Of course, that's still far from the reality. Let's see whether Chiru and Pawan call for truce by burying their hatchet.

Bheemavaram Bullodu Movie Review

Bheemavaram Bullodu Movie Review

Sunil is back as Bhimavaram Bullodu after his failed attempt to make an impression as solo hero in Mr. Pellikoduku. Udaya Sankar of Kalisundam Ra fame directed this film and Suresh produced it.

What is it about?

Rambabu (Sunil) is a timid guy who stays away from troubles. One day he comes to know that he has brain tumor and will die in ten days. So he decides to some good for society in those ten days and messes with rowdies of Hyderabad. Doctor reveals that Rambabu has no brain tumor and now he has to run for his life. Also he has a task to impress his lover's (Esther) dad (Sayaji Shinde).

Performances:

Sunil is in his elements as Rambabu. He tried hard to justice to his role and not to seem like a regular commercial hero. However those who expect trademark Sunil comedy will be disappointed with this character. Esther is alright. Posani Krishna Murali's comedy didn't impress. Prithviraj's act as blind man is good. Supreeth is okay and Sayaji Shinde is standard. There are so many actors in this film and everyone did their bit.

Technicalities:
Udaya Sankar's last film Raraju was a dud and he has waited for years to get another opportunity. Despite sitting idle for many years, he couldn't write a good story. The story of this film is given by Kalidas and it is too cliched and ordinary. Even the screenplay and treatment are so bad that Bhimavaram Bullodu fails on many levels.

Cinematography is standard and editing could have been much much better. There is so much lag in the second half which could have been edited out. Dialogues by Sridhar are silly and Music by Anup Rubens is mediocre. The film is made on a very low budget.

Analysis:

Audience expects a good comedy with Sunil playing the lead role. Bhimavaram Bullodu tried to entertain, but the cliched treatment and stale comedy didn't help the cause. First half of the movie is a total waste with Sunil playing an action hero with so many fight scenes. Everything can be predicted from scene one and there is not much fun to sit through this horrendous comedy.

There is comedy in bits and pieces in the second hour, but that will not please the ticket paying public. Sunil's efforts to impress Sayaji Shinde, his attempts to slip away from the goons should have been hilarious to make an impact. Sadly, Bhimavaram Bullodu doesn't deliver the required punch at the right time. At one point the film turns out to be unbearably predictable and boring that you will have to wait impatiently for the end titles to roll in.

Bhimavaram Bullodu is an unimpressive comedy that will not appeal to any section of audience. It is hard to sit through this film unless you are provided with the facility of fast forwarding the boring parts. You will be terribly disappointed if you are expecting genuine comedic moments from ace comedian Sunil. Better to watch his comedy bits on Gemini comedy or Youtube channel rather going for Bhimavaram Bullodu.

Verdict: Hopeless Bullodu

Telugu politician challenges B-town hero

A key politician from Andhra Pradesh is going to give rude shock to Bollywood's happening hero. The politician in question is none other than Chiranjeevi and the Bollywood action hero in question is Akshay Kumar. All this is happening for Akshay's next project which is the remake of super hit Telugu movie 'Tagore' featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi.

In 'Tagore' remake, titled 'Gabbar', the most challenging role is Chiru's role which has multiple and diverse shades as a professor and anti-corruption crusader. This indeed is a challenge to Akshay Kumar given that Chiranjeevi's another remake Stalin recently remade by Salman as Jai Ho turned out disaster.

'Gabbar', being directed by Telugu director Krish Jagarlamudi, will see Kareena Kapoor, Shruti Haasan reprising the roles of Jyothika and Shriya respectively. Actor Suman, of Sivaji fame, plays the baddie. We have to see how far the movie performs at box office.

Pawan Kalyan... The Suspense is still On!

Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh doing Oh My God remake is probably the biggest news of recent times. The film is currently in pre production stage and it is fully on as per the latest press note. They have even announced the release date of the film which is yet to hit the floors. As per an official statement, OMG remake will release on October 2ndthis year.

Surprisingly they have decided about the release date, but haven't yet fixed on the director! Who is going to direct this super special project? We are hearing that Dolly (Kishore) is the frontrunner to direct it. But there is no official confirmation regarding director as yet.

Why are they maintaining suspense about the director? Are they having other names in mind or what? Oh My God is not a regular fare and it does need a midas touch from the director to make it an impressive film. Maybe the makers still doubt the capabilities of Dolly in handling this big multi-starrer. As of now he is the only director who has high chances to bag this project.

Is Kajal Agarwal In Love??

There is a very rare chance that heroines get into arranged marriages. Most of them fall in love and usually they tend to choose someone who is well settled and is not from the industry. The reason for this discussion is due to the strong grapevine about Kajal Agarwal allowing her heart to be taken away.

Well, sources from Mumbai reveal Kajal has found her Mr Right and he happens to be a businessman based locally. Buzz is that since she is aware of the risk in getting caught in media focus, the saucy seductress and her alleged beau are busy romancing in foreign countries.

This comes as a surprise because just a while ago Kajal had reportedly stated that her focus is on career and marriage is a long way ahead. She has become a top starlet in Telugu, Tamil and made her presence felt in Hindi too. But whether all this rumored affair has been on since long or whether it just happened is something of a mystery. Well, let us hope Kajal has truly found her man and best wishes to both.

NTR first, Mahesh next!

It's common knowledge by now that Mahesh Babu, had thought of teaming up with director Puri Jaganndah, soon after his present commitment Aagadu with Srinu Vytla. But destiny has other plans for Mahesh. Owing to his contract with UTV films, Mahesh Babu has to begin working on their project with director Koratala Siva which was announced much earlier. With this, Puri Jagan has to wait for a while to direct Mahesh.

Puri, who is known for wrapping up projects at a breakneck speed, has decided to do a film before his project with Mahesh takes off. He is going to direct none other than Jr NTR. Puri and NTR, who haven't joined their forces after debacle of Andhrawala (ten years ago in 2004), have now decided to break that jinx. Puri has apparently narrated a story line to NTR who quite impressed with it.NTR has given a go-ahead to Puri, if rumour mills are anything to go by.

NTR, who is currently sweating out for Santosh Srinivas' Joru (tentative title), may finish it by the end of April. It's a cake walk for Puri to get ready by April as he finishes a script within 20 days. If all goes well, this project will go onto floors from May. It's not clear who is going to produce the film and other cast. So, NTR is first for Puri and Mahesh is second as per the commitments. Meanwhile, directors Sukumar, Koratala Siva and Vamsi Paidipally too busy weaving stories for NTR. Despite going through rough phase, NTR is hot cake for the top directors in tinsel ville.

Big hero searching for daughters!

Big hero Venkatesh is focusing on delivering good hits at any cost and his only ball is to depend on remakes. After grabbing 'Oh My God', Venky will be delivering 'Drishyam' (Malayalam movie) remake too. For that there seems to be huge requirement of actresses, with a condition though.

For Drishyam remake, already former heroine Meena is picked up to play Venkatesh's wife role. In a day or two, the matured hottie who is playing the role of lady cop is going to be finalized. It will be either Nadiya, the famous Attamma of Tollywood or Simran, ex-queen bee of Telugu cinema. Apart from these roles, most crucial roles in the movie are of two girls aged around 15 years, who play Venky-Meena's daughter. Right now search is on to pick girls through auditions, and we hear an interesting story about it.

In fact there are bunch of young heroines who are sharing screen space with new generation heroes at the moment. All such beauties will aptly suit Venky-Meena couple as their daughters. But it is heard that our family hero has given the makers strict orders to not pick any heroine, as playing dad to a heroine will hamper his solo hero flicks later.

Aaha Kalyanam Movie Review

Aaha Kalyanam

Rating:2.75/5
Cast: Nani , Vaani Kapoor , Simran and others
Directed by : A. Gokul Krishna
Produced by : Aditya Chopra
Banner :Yash Raj Films
Music by : Dharan Kumar
Release Date : 2014-02-21

Aaha Kalyanam Movie Review

Band Baaja Barat, a Bollywood hit has been remade in Tamil with Nani and Vani in Tamil and dubbed in Telugu as Aaha Kalyanam.

What is it about?

Shruti (Vaani) wants to be a famous wedding planner and Shakti (Nani) a street smart guy joins her as business partner. They start off with street weddings and become popular within no time. Shruti asks Shakti not to mix romance with finance, but eventually falls for him. But Shakti doesn't express his love for her and differences crop up.

Performances:
Nani is entertaining in the lead role. He carried off the character of Shakti with ease. His broken English and funny antics will leave you in splits. He has owned the character and delivered the best he can. Vaani Kapoor did an okay job as the female lead. She is good in the first half and was average in the second half. They both made a good pair and that is one of the positive aspects of the film. Supporting cast are mostly Tamilians and everyone did alright. Simran appeared in a cameo.

Technicalities:

Director Gokul Krishna is loyal to the original. He didn't make too many changes to BBB script. He handled the entertainment part well, but faltered in getting the feel right in emotional scenes. The soul of the movie lies in the second half and director couldn't do the magic of the original in this part.

Music by Dharan Kumar is not so impressive. All the songs had Tamil flavor and don't impress our audience. Camera work is good and editing is just fine. The class of YRF can be seen in the production values.

Analysis:

Aaha Kalyanam has a nice premise. We don't see the lead characters playing Wedding planners often. However, we have already seen this in Jabardasth, which was blatantly copied from Band Baaja Baarat. First half of the film is almost identical to that of Jabardast for Telugu audience.

Those who have seen the original will not be too pleased with Aaha Kalyanam as that energy is missing in it. Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma have made that movie special and that chemistry is lacking between Nani and Vani. Although Nani has put up a formidable show, he could only produce some bright moments here and there.

Second half is too flat with predictable screenplay. This part doesn't work if you don't feel the pain of the characters. Aaha Kalyanam started off well and fizzles too quickly and ends up as an average fare. You can try it if you haven't watched the original. Those who have seen BBB can wait for the home edition of Aaha Kalyanam.

Verdict: This Marriage is just Average!

Shruti eyeing on a 'Mega' Hat-trick

Shruthi Haasan was lucky enough to bag Gabbar Singh film while she was running through rough phase in her career. That film's success has turned the cards for Shruthi and she has reached the top league of heroines in Tollywood. She built a career on Gabbar Singh's success and hits like Balupu and Yevadu followed.

Shruti Haasan started off with Pawan Kalyan's film and immediately bagged a film each with Charan and Allu Arjun, the other in form mega heroes. Earlier Tamanna did this feat by doing films with all the three mega heroes. Tamanna failed to score hits with Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan though.

Shruti turned out to be lucky mascot for mega heroes. She scored hits with both Pawan and Charan. She is hoping to complete Mega hat-trick by scoring a hit with Allu Arjun's Race Gurram too. In this film she is also crooning for a mass song that goes 'Dum Dum Duppa Duppa'. May be it is time for second round for Mega heroes with Shruti, what say?

Mahesh Babu 'One' More- Pawan Kalyan 'One And Half'

It is a common expectation from the cine buffs that stars with high box office stamina like Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan must come up with more number of films in an year. Given the way both have been on a signing spree, that expectation rose but then it looks like the year 2014 doesn’t have much to offer.

As of now, Mahesh is expected to come with ‘Aagadu’ in the month of September. It was reported that he has a project with Puri Jagannadh and Mani Ratnam as well but till now no official announcement has come. If it is Puri then there is a chance since he is quick in wrapping films. But he is going ahead with a young hero.

Already, Mahesh has come with ‘One’ this year. As for Pawan, sources reveal he will come in ‘Oh My God’ remake from interval so that would be half and then he will be seen in ‘Gabbar Singh 2’ which is confirmed for arrival this year. So, it would be a one and half treat from him.   Let’s hope fans make do with this then.

Mahesh Babu is locked

We have been hearing various reports about Mahesh Babu's next film after Aagadu. Puri Jagannadh has been stressing that his film will start off after Mahesh is done with Aagadu. On the other hand we are repeatedly hearing latest updates about Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer, which is yet to be confirmed officially.

But all those films can wait for some time. Why because Mahesh Babu has to start shooting for UTV Films movie immediately after Aagadu. Mahesh has reportedly signed a contract with UTV to do his next to them. As per the contract he will have to take up UTV film before moving on to other projects.

So Koratala Shiva's film which was kept on hold till now moves ahead of Puri and Mani Ratnam movies. Regular shooting of Koratala's film will start in May and Mahesh will work on Aagadu and this film until he is done with the former. As per the latest development Puri Jagannadh's film may get bit delayed. So Koratala's second film as director will be with Mahesh and his third will be with NTR. No change in that order.

Meet AR Rahman's First Heroine!!

What if Chennai Mozart, India's academy award winner A R Rahman takes it to acting on silver screen? No doubt, that will be a stunner, but before that one may ask who is the legendary music composer's first ever heroine. Here we got the answer.

In his first ever silver screen appearance and singing a Punjabi song, A R Rahman features travelling on the back a moving truck, while young heroine charming Alia Bhatt sits behind him and stares at roads. All this action is happening for a song titled 'Patakha Guddi' in the movie 'Highway' that will hit screens coming Friday. Recently our music Mozart has shot for this song, and he himself sang the Punjabi lyrics that are complimented by his stylish beats and fusion.

For now, it is still surprise if director Imtiyaz  Ali will use this song for promotion or keeps it in movie, but no doubt this is the first song for A R Rahman to feature with a girl. In that way, Alia becomes Rahman's first heroine. Lucky girl isn't it!

Aishwarya Rai set to shake T'wood

http://chithralahari2025.blogspot.in/
Aishwarya Rai is all set to sizzle in Telugu films. She has signed two big-ticket Telugu films on the dotted line. Of course, for heft pay cheques. With one being Mani Ratnam's film where she will be paired opposite Tollywood Manmadhudu Nagarjuna and shares screen space with Mahesh Babu, the other film is director P.Vasu's Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Both these films will have a simultaneous release in Telugu.

Going by tinsel town buzz, director Vasu, of Chandramukhi fame, has penned an impressive periodic script for Ash. Secret behind Samantha's silence

It could go down as one of the most unusual  relationship's in T-town. Well, we're talking about "Love birds" Siddharth and Samantha who are time and again maintaining as "Closest friends". Even though Samantha elaborately shares her views on love, relationship, understanding one-another and on her Mr Right (as her interviews in English dailies), she turns tight-lipped when you insist on naming the person. So why she has to kieep her love a secret?

May be she is worried that her 'open declaration' would affect her rocking career and top T-town stars like Mahes, NTR, Ram Charan and Prabahs, will shy away from her and she’ll would be losing 10 to 15 crore( as her take home pay is Rs. 1.5 crore per film) in next three years. Except for her ‘professional hiccup’, the actress has no reason to keep her love life under wraps since both the families have reportedly approved their relationship and half-of-the industry knows whom she is spending more time after work.

We don't known whether top producers who have given her ‘hefty pay cheques’ are restraining her from declaring her boyfriend, suspecting that it would affect their movies.  â€Å“Love or an affair will work wonders for a male star and actually bolster his ratings, but when it comes to an  actress, such revelations would cause more damage to on her on-screen lover girl image” adds the source. So and so much, that the actress has to hold her feelings back, even on a Valentine Day, where lovers are going over board in  celebrating and proposing love openly. May be, another ‘silent valentine’ for the pretty lass.

Pawan Kalyan's next: Jana Gana Mana

According to grapevine, Pawan Kalyan is all set to do a patriotic film and it is tentatively titled as Jana Gana Mana. This is the hot news that is making rounds in film nagar. If you're curious to know who is going to wield the megaphone, here it is. Buzz is that director Krishna Vamsi, who is known for directing films like Sindhuram, Anthapuram, Khadgam, Mahatma, would be directing this most-awaited project.

Krishna Vamsi has apparently penned this message-oriented script keeping Chiranjeevi in mind. It was titled Vandemataram then but for some reason it never took off. It is heard that the director has made few changes in script to fit for Pawan and is renamed as Jana Gana Mana! Pawan Kalyan has been waiting to do a film with social awareness and it seems like Krishna Vamsi̢۪s storyline has impressed the Power Star! What's more? Producer Dil Raju is going to produce this "Vamsi-Pawan" combination project. Talk is that Dil Raju has already registered a title on this name in Film Chamber.

Krishna Vamsi is currently making a family entertainer (tentatively Govindudu Andari Vadele) with Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal in the stellar roles. If everything falls in place, Jana Gana Mana would be his next film with Power Star in the lead. Of late, Vamsi is not in good form and going through rough phase. His recent film Paisa too tumbled at Box Office. Vamsi needs to restore the confidence with Chran's multi-starrer in order to raise the expectations on Jana Gana Mana. Above all, that will be more of a Pawan Kalyan's film.

Hansika's lover confirms everything!

Publicly announcing about relationship status is not something south celebs regular do. Hansika Motwani, however openly stated that she is in love with Simbu. But their relation has gone for a toss as per media reports, but here is her boyfriend cum lover blaming rumours.

First Look: Balayya's ferocious villain

With family hero Jagapathi Babu's birthday (February 12th) scheduled for tomorrow, it seems like all the movies that roped him as protagonist are now queuing up to pour their wishes. After unveiling Jagapathi's look in Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, here comes his powerful presence in 'Legend'.

Sporting a quite western look in his attire, but a contrast typical god-believer kind of look on face, Jagapathi Babu is really looking ferocious. For the first time, he is playing the role of a villain for full length of the movie and yes his looks are really stunning. Unravelling that aura of authoritative prowess in his eyes, Jaggu surely dominates the scene in Tollywood which is being controlled by other language actors all this time. Kudos to Jagapathi for taking up such a tough task on his shoulders, even after acting as a lead in more than 200 films.

Pawan Kalyan as Lord Krishna

If reports to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is all set to act in another film other than his much anticipated Gabbar Singh 2. Going by our strong sources, the Power Star has given his nod for a multi-starrer. He is going to share screen space with none other than Daggubati Venkatesh. And the movie is the Telugu remake of Hindi hit Oh My God.

While Venkatesh steps into the shoes of Paresh Rawal, a common shopkeeper, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in a never-before-seen God role i.e, Lord Krishna which was portrayed by Akshay Kumar in the original. Buzz is that the talks have become fruitful and Pawan gave his go-ahead to the team. Dolly, of Tadakha fame, is likely to direct the film. The movie is said to be simultaneously shot along with Pawan's Gabbar Singh 2.

Oh My God is a laugh riot. The film is all about an atheist-Hindu shopkeeper whose only shop gets damaged due to a low-intensity earthquake. When shopkeeper learns that he is ineligible to claim insurance for the damages caused due to natural calamities (act of God), he decides to file a law suit against God. It's interesting to watch out how things take turn from then. Pawan's role has two shades- one as a real-estate agent Krishna Vasudev Yadav and the other as Lord Krishna. The film is a socio-fantasy.

Earlier Pawan and Venkatesh were supposed to act in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu but things didn't materialize and later the role went to Mahesh Babu. Now, with none other than Pawan, who rose to super stardom, giving go-ahead to multi-starrer, this is expected to set a new precedent in Tollywood. This is certainly a very big news to all Tollywood fans and Mega fans. Stay tuned for more updates.

Allu Aravind's Adage To Cover Sirish

For any film, the hero is the life and soul because he has to shoulder it for two and half hours and audience must not get switched off looking at him.For that, the hero has to be charming, handsome and with the right kind of attraction. Currently, a discussion is happening about the new hero Allu Sirish.

Well, it is a known fact that Sirish has neither the height the looks or the personality to be called as a hero. But with pure family backup and background he is coming and his fate would be decided with his new movie ‘Kotha Janta’.

However, his father Allu Aravind feels otherwise about the acceptability factor.
It is heard that Aravind was sharing his thoughts when he used the adage ‘Tinaga Tinaga Vemu Tiyyanundu..’. Taking that as the reference, Aravind reportedly stated that similarly looking at Sirish a few times onscreen even the people will start accepting and admiring him.

Unlike his brother Allu Arjun who mesmerizes with his dance, we have to see what Sirish will show to prove himself.

Trade talk: Nani saves Paisa

Yet again, actor Nani drew in good openings of around 2 crores on first day even in remote centers like Rajahmundry, Gudivada and Kurnool along with Nizam and Ceded regions, but subsequently fizzled out.

Even his earlier releases like "Sega" and "Yeto Velipoyindi" had decent openings, but poor content couldn't sustain the collections. So talented actor Nani just needs a solid script, to take him to the next level and to become a strong non-lineage star, who can pull in openings ( a hallmark of star kids in T-town). May be he has a 'floating' fan following' right now but he should soon consolidate it with good number of hits, to have a fan following of his own.

NTR wary of producer's 20 crore debt ?

Despite giving his nod to a leading producer (whose recent film is a superhit) in principle, reigning star NTR is hesitant about the huge debts of that producer. Because, his film will have to carry the burden of the debt ( a usual practice in T-town), so scion of Nandamuri clan, is keeping his options open.

Since the said producer has reported run up debts of Rs. 20 crore, piled up by his previous disasters, but he claims that the debt is just 10 crores, which is manageable and under control. Whereas, NTR has his own doubts and checking it out with his friends in the industry, however, the director is busy in fine-tuning the script, but surely there is a 'trust deficit' between producer and actor, so let's see, how things would pan out.

February wedding for Prabhas

Tollywood's heartthrob Prabhas is all set to get married. Although, the speculations about Rebel Star's marriage has been doing the rounds for a while, the latest is that he is going to tie the knot in February. Well, not this February but it is February 2015.

Prabhas, who is currently busy working on S.S Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali, would enter into wedlock next year soon after wrapping up the present commitment. And yes, it's an arranged marriage. Prabhas' family has been hunting for a lanky, traditional bride who fits Prabhas perfectly. According to grapevine, they have find one such beautiful bride from Bhimavaram. We hear that Krishnam Raju & Co. were already quite impressed and fixed her. Reportedly, Prabhas' too given his go-ahead. At the moment, the families of to-be-bride, to-be-groom haven't locked the wedding date. But the wedding is likely to be in February 2015. So, if all goes well, by this time next year, macho man Prabhas' would turn bride-groom. This is certainly heart-breaking news for all the female fans of the hunk hero. Stay tuned for more updates.

After the disastrous ‘Mogudu’ director Krishna Vamsi is teaming up with hero Nani who was last seen in ‘Eega’ and was desperate for getting onscreen. Let us see whether this combo worked or not.
Story
Prakash (Nani) is a streetsmart Sherwani model in the old city who believes that money rules the world. His dream is to earn 1 crore and settle. Noor (Catherine) is a girl in the neighbourhood who loves Prakash to the core but he doesn’t acknowledge her feelings. One day Prakash comes across Sweety (Siddhika), daughter of a wealthy politician (Charan Raj) and feels she is his ticket to settle in life. But one incident happens and that ends up with Prakash and Noor on the run along with huge money bags belonging to Sweety’s father. How that happens and where it leads forms the rest of the tale.
Performances
Nani is the cynosure of the entire movie and he carries it on his shoulders with responsibility. His ease and dialogue delivery makes him a natural performer and he delivered it without a hitch.
Catherine is a deserving beauty. She is the perfect package of attraction and sex appeal. Most of her feelings are conveyed through her eyes and she fits the role very well.
Siddhika Sharma was there for the visual feast and she did justice to it. Good to see Charan Raj back in action and he was good. Bharath Reddy was effective.
Raja Ravindra stood out with his role. Subrahmanyam was adequate. The guys who did Nani’s friends roles gave a committed act. Others filled the gaps and added value.

Analysis
Whether it has to do with the DNA of those who belong to Ram Gopal Varma’s school or it was the case of pure grit and determination to score, the genre of racy thriller laced with crime and practical greed comes really smooth and fine with some filmmakers.
Krishna Vamsi who was in hibernation since quite a while and gave a massive bomb with ‘Mogudu’ seems to have attempted his comfortable genre.
As such, this film tends to give a déjà vu feeling since we have already seen something similar in ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ but there are those flashes of brilliance that come from KV which is his unique signature style.
The scene composition, camera angles, slow motion shots and the total color of the film is very appealing to the eyes.
However, the amount of energy and adrenalin he has pumped through his screenplay required more strength. Though commercial masala is part of this product, Krishna Vamsi has not forgotten to display his philosophy of life through certain scenes such as Nani giving Gyan to his friends about the duration of love and how real life consumes it with daily responsibilities and how money is the spinal cord for every happiness.
There is also that ruggedness in certain characters which has been seen in his earlier ventures like ‘Sindhooram’ ‘Antahpuram’ and others.
The opening few minutes of the film doesn’t waste any time and gets the audience into the story. It is not until the interval caption that one realizes that first half is over.
But trouble begins in second half. It could not sustain the same speed and had a dip which eventually played the spoilsport.
The songs were more forced into the situation to kill the time.
The RR was louder than required and the focus was more on action than providing balanced entertainment.
The director could able to bring in interest in a few scenes but suddenly dips down.
Overall, Krishna Vamsi has tapped the element of human greed for money so while it appeals to the masses it doesn’t have enough for other genre of audience to like it.
Bottomline: Average treat
