BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi once again declared that he is always in awe of Pawan Kalyan's speeches. The other day Modi, Chandrababu and Pawan joined hands again to rise up to the cause of Seemandhra and took Tirupathi town by a storm with their fiery speeches.

Turning his guns towards YSR Congress led by YS Jagan, Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan breathed fire on 'Yuva Neta' the other day for keeping quiet when KCR is foul mouthing Andhra people. 'You want to become Seemandhra CM now, but what have you done when KCR is insulting Andhraites and kicking on our self-respect?', Pawan asked, while presiding at the NDA's first public meet for Seemandhra held in Tiurpathi. To conclude, Pawan has raised the slogan, 'YSRC Hatao, Seemandhra Bachao', confirming that he has decided to take on Jagan strongly in the region. 'Only YSR's family has looted the whole of Telangana, and only during his regime T-demand was made to reach its peaks. They are big threat for Seemandhra now'.

The Jana Sena president hasn't spared TRS boss K Chandrasekhar Rao here too. 'Let them lodge the many cases they want to, but I'm not here to bow before them. KCR has to first tender apology to Modi for making fun of him, and then I'll think about what I should do', said Pawan, making airs clear that he is not ready to apologize anyone from TRS or KCR's family. 'I'm not here to get afraid of KCR's family, if you slap us on one cheek, we will do it to two'.

Political Confusion in Mahesh's Family

Already we are witnessing Mega family split between Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, as one happens to be chief campaigner of Congress party while other one is president of Jana Sena and star campaigner of BJP-TDP duo in the state. Now, the scene is getting shifted to Superstar Mahesh Babu's family.

Apparently, everyone waited eagerly to know what Mahesh Babu will decide about politics as his brother in law Galla Jayadev is contesting as MP from Guntur on Telugudesam ticket. Surprising everyone, Mahesh voted for Jayadev and extended his full on support to him. But the actor carefully avoided talking about Telugudesam or his support to the party. At the same time veteran Superstar Krishna's brother Adiseshagiri Rao declared his support to YSR Congress party. Superstar Krishna is also known for his proximity with late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy, and there is no shocker in him joining hands with Jagan. When son and son-in-law are with Telugudesam, directly or indirectly, Krishna and his brother are with Jagan's party. Will this not create confusion among Ghattamaneni fans?

Leave this aside, and we have Krishna's extended family through second wife Vijayanirmala creating more confusion. Vijayanirmala is ready to walk in the footsteps of her husband, but not her son Naresh. This former hero and present character artist used to be a staunch supporter of BJP and later distanced from the lotus-walas indicating some caste politics.  Now, he is extending his support to Pawan Kalyan and stated that Pawan is a ray of hope for AP politics.

Jayadev (TDP), Mahesh (indirectly TDP), Krishna (indirectly YSRC), Adiseshagiri Rao (YSRC), Naresh (Jana Sena) are surely creating big confusion for some fan bases. End of the day, all family members need not be in same political party anyway.

Prathinidhi review: Thought-provoking Prathinidhi

With elections just around the corner, films with political backdrop hitting the screens. After handful of films like Prabhanjanam, Pratightana, here comes Nara Rohit's Prathinidhi. Unlike others, this film has got hype ever since the makers unveiled its first teaser. Rohit has been going through lean phase of late. Unfazed by it, Rohit teams up with newcomer Prashanth Mandava for a political drama. Will he overcome the jinx with this? Check out our verdict.

Plot: Manchodu Sreenu (Nara Rohit) is a responsible citizen who strictly goes by rule book. He doesn't even let anyone to throw the waste on roads. One day he abducts the Chief Minister of State. And yes, it has a purpose. What was it? What compelled Sreenu to kidnap the CM? What are all his demands? Did he manage to come out of it at the end? All these form the crux of the story.

Performances: 

Nara Rohit: Nara Rohit as Manchodu Sreenu hogs the limelight. He carries off the film on his shoulders. It's his show all the way. His subtle performance work in favour of the film. Yet Rohit couldn't overcome his negatives while playing romantic interest. Rohit needs to focus on this and rest all is fine. 

Kota Sreenivasa Rao: Kota Sreenivasa Rao might have donned the cap of politician umpteen times and yes, he did act like CM in many films for the past. Yet, Kota's role in Prathinidhi is quite different from his previous ones. Unlike his erstwhile films, Kota has more or less equal screen presence with Nara Rohit in the film. Kota fits the bill aptly.

Shubhra Aiyyappa: Newcomer Shubhra Aiyyappa is not so easy on eyes. She looks old. Shubhra needs to improve her acting prowess. Else, going gets tough for her given that there is high competition.

Technical aspects: On technical front, Prathinidhi scores well. Chitti Babu cranks his camera well. Background score comes in handy for gripping narrative. Editing is good. However, editor should have used his scissors well for the first part of the film which appears draggy at times.

Analysis: The film opens with interesting title cards quoting best quotes of popular, influential leaders. Right from then, the movie goes on pace till the end. It is a bold, fresh take on prevailing political system. The well-conceived, thought-provoking film is an eye-opener to many wicked politicians and traditional political parties. Despite handful of mistakes, draggy narration at times, debutante director succeeds in keeping the thrill alive till the end. It's the second half, told convincingly, that saves the film. 

Especially, Manchodu Sreenu's demands for releasing CM and his reasons for abducting him is what strikes a chord. Dialogues are big asset. Nara Rohit's subtle performance works in favour of the film. Actors Kota Sreenivasa Rao, Posani Krishna Murali as usual did fine job. Hitting the screens in political season, Prathinidhi makes for a good watch.

Pawan Says He Will Support NDA In 2 States

As a part of their tacit understanding, TDP head honcho Chandra Babu Naidu and film star and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan shared the dais during election campaigning. Addressing the gathering, Chandra Babu claimed that he and Narendra Modi were a winning combination. He said they will strive together for the development of the newly states. Pawan started off his speech by saying that he chose not to field candidates to avoid indirectly supporting the Congress. He also blamed the Congress for the way in which it went about the bifurcation process and said that there was no need to delay the decision till hundreds of youth sacrificed their lives. 

He said this was the primary reason for his extending his support to Narendra Modi at the centre and Chandra Babu closer home as he was part of NDA in the past. Pawan also said that he was sincerely hoping that NDA should come to power at the Centre and in Telangana which will benefit the people of both Telangana and Seemandhra.  The instigating statements made by KCR against Modi and Sonia Gandhi will not aid the prospects of Telangana people, he said. Pawan added that all the sacrifices by Telangana people will go waste if they support TRS and KCR. Pawan said that he envisaged NDA governments in both the states and said that he would campaign extensively for the NDA alliance in both the states. 

However, Pawan strategically avoided mentioning TDP during the entire speech. When asked if he will campaign along side Chandra Babu, he diplomatically said that he will decide depending on the situation at that time. Pawan also chose to address the issue of a BC candidate being made the CM in Telangana. He reminded that Chandra Babu had promised to make a BC candidate chief minister in Telangana. While criticizing KCR for talking down to BC leader Shravan, he said he was extending his support to NDA based on Chandra Babu’s promise.

Pawan's Bullet Speech in Nizamabad

Addressing thousands of spectators at Bharat Vijaya Rally public meet held in Nizamabad, Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan attacked the BJP's oppositions . His revelations about how Telangana is achieved and what TRS is doing at the moment, have struck a chord with the youths at the meeting.
 
"Many parties are claiming that sanctioning Telangana is their own hard work. But in reality, Telangana is the result of thousands of self-implicated deaths (suicides) of youths in the region," said Pawan, criticizing Congress and TRS, as the two parties are busy claiming the credits. "At a time when 2-3 youths are committing suicide daily, why this UPA government hasn't bifurcated the state?," he asked. "There is Telangana in my heart and blood. Though I was born in Bapatla, Telangana gave me rebirth."
 
Blasting KCR's family for trying to become monarchs of the newly formed state, Pawan criticized why a leader wants so many posts for his family, for his son, daughter and son-in-law. "If we vote KCR to power in Telangana, this state will travel into oblivion. We need to vote for parties that could develop the region. Development means not just skyscrapers and real-estate deals, but tackling people's issues effectively," says Pawan.
 
On a finishing note, Pawan confirmed that Modi government is going to be formed at Centre and reiterated that Modi is man of action than words. He questioned spectators as to why Jana Sena should not support an efficient leader like Modi, and the crowd burst into claps and whistles. That should silence his critics probably.

All eyes on Modi's 4 Shows

All eyes on BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi's Today's visit to the state. Modi's visit, a day after Rahul Gandhi's visit, gained much significance. Interestingly, Modi is going to address four public shows in Andhra Pradesh in a day. He is going to address public in Nizamabad (at 2 PM), Karimnagar (at 3 PM), Mahabubnagar (5 PM) and finally in Hyderabad's L.B Stadium (at 6.15 PM).

While Pawan Kalyan is all set to go to Nizamabad in a special helicopter from Begumpet and join Modi's Nizamabad speech, TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu will only join Narendra Modi in Mahabubnagar as Babu is busy touring in Chittoor district. Both Babu, Pawan Kalyan will be seen sharing dais with Modi in Mahabubnagar and Hyderabad meetings. Large number of police personnel have been deployed and security is beefed up considering Modi's public meetings. Hyderabad City Traffic police have imposed restrictions in city from 2 PM to 9 PM in and around the locales of L.B Stadium.

What is this Chiru?

He might be a Mega Star on screen, but when it comes to politics, Chiranjeevi turned out to be a mere clown. And proving it right again, his recent speeches while campaigning for Congress candidates in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states become a laughing stock for locales. More than raising concerning issues, Chiru has been recalling about his shootings in the regions, success of his films and subsequent collections of his hit pictures in the areas. He hardly talking about public-issues, their plight. Naturally, this is drawing flak from people. What's more irony is even the very candidates of Congress are in dissent over Chiru's poor campaigning strategy.

Here are the few blunders from his Tamil Nadu campaigning that made Congress candidates red-faced.

1. Perhaps this is the biggest one which no one would have done: Chiru dubbed Kudankulam Project as a drinking-irrigation project contrary to that it is an Atomic Power Project.

2. Chiru claimed that Congress had played significant role in making Hosuru National Highway into a 4-line highway. Truth is that Hosuru National Highway is 6-line highway.

3. Above all, Chiru alleged that AIADMK and DMK haven't built a single drinking-irrigation project.Hogenakkal built on Kaveri and Krishna Water Project (Telugu Ganga Project) built on Krishna River were during the tenures of AIADMK and DMK.

These are just a tip of ice burgs from Chiru's list of blunders. Political analysts predict that Chiru's presence is a bane for Congress candidates rather than a boon. At least now, Chiru should wake up to realities and act according to it. And at the end, it is Congress that is paying its hefty price for Chiru's faux pas.

Rajamouli's Explanation Gives Full Kick!!!

Upon watching the trailers of Superstar Rajnikanth's Vikramasimha, many felt that the graphics work of the movie is inferior. But not until star director Rajamouli explains the hard work behind it. 'Soundarya immortalized God into history for millions of fans in a 3D character', said Rajamouli, setting a perfect stage for his thrilling speech.

'A small fly that occupies a corner of the screen took me two years to complete due to the complexity of graphics and VFX work involved. Imagine that on a full scale, a full screen size and a complete two and half hour movie', stresses Rajamouli, explaining how tough it is to make graphical wonder like Vikramasimha. 'Small renderings that need Photoshop take huge time. Imagine this kind of scale, and imagine how hair, skin, skin texture, costume renders take huge time to complete. But director Soundarya did a fantastic job to deliver them in just two years time. I'm amazed', he avers.

On a concluding note, Rajamouli said, 'Victory is always a relative of sweat and as Soundarya has sweat heavily, definitely Vikramsimha will become a big blockbuster'. You are truly a gem among the gems Rajamouli and your explanation has given full kick about Vikramasimha

Pawan to Meet Chandra Babu Today. What's Up?

Finally, D-day has come. Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is going to meet TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu in Hyderabad within few hours. Both Pawan and Babu are going to held deliberations on Narendra Modi's visit to Hyderabad Tomorrow and his public meeting in L.B Nagar Stadium the same day. Top sources in the know revealed that Pawan and Babu are going to finalize an action plan for TDP-BJP campaigning in Telangana, Seemandhra. "Both are going to discuss on various political issues, happenings in Seemandhra, Telangana. Yes, they're figuring out solutions to few internal problems within both TDP, BJP about the alliance. The main agenda of Pawan and Babu is to make Modi's meet a grand success," shared a TDP top leader. And yes, as reported earlier, Pawan Kalyan and Chandra Babu Naidu are going to share dais with Modi Tomorrow.

Ever since Pawan Kalyan floated his own outfit Jana Sena Party, there have been wide speculations about Pawan's support to TDP. Although Pawan has tight lipped about it and maintained his support to Narendra Modi's Prime Ministerial candidate, media reports were rife that Pawan is inclined towards Chandra Babu's administration in State. BJP stitching an alliance with TDP in both Seemandhra and Telangana has added fuel to those reports. Reports even surfaced that Pawan has met Babu couple of times. Yet there is no statement on it from both parties.

Mahesh Babu Supports TDP

Super Star Mahesh Babu has been away from the political scenes and the actor today has come out in support for his brother-in-law Jay Galla. Mahesh's father Super Star Krishna is a loyal supporter for Congress for more than three decades and it was expected that Mahesh will be supporting his brother-in-law for sure as the actor shares a very relation with him. 

Mahesh posted on twitter " I've always maintained that I'm apolitical.. still am. However, I need to break my silence to talk a little about my BIL @jaygalla who is contesting for MP from Guntur. From the time he married my sister, Padma, when I was only 13, he has been an inspiration and role model to me. 

At first, it was because of the way he took care of me and treated me. Later, I understood how he was able to develop a vision and translate it into reality with values, as can be seen in how he steered the Amara Raja Group and the Amaron Brand into what they are today. He has been recognized by media, industry bodies and his peers for his achievements. He has always talked about wanting to enter politics, and I never really understood why, given my own dislike for the field. 

He always said that the only way to create change is to improve the quality of people entering politics.. And that through politics, you can serve the maximum number of people. One of his favorite quotes, "One man can make a difference, and every man should try." I believe in him, and I believe he can make a difference. He has my support and my vote, and I hope he has yours as well. @jaygalla represents hope for the future of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and for India." Padma Shri Row: Relief to Mohan Babu

In a minor relief to Dr Mohan Babu, Supreme Court on Thursday imposed stay on Andhra Pradesh High Court's order to Mohan Babu to return the Padma Shri title to government. The Apex court has asked the prosecution to file a petition on the issue. However, Supreme Court maintained that from now onwards, every Padma Awardee must be cautious and not to misuse the honorary award.

It may be recalled that BJP senior leader Indra Sena Reddy has filed a petition in AP High Court complaining that Mohan Babu "misused" Padma Award title by using it in film credits of Denikaina Ready. Acting on the complaint, HC asked both Mohan Babu and Brahmanandam to return their Padma Shri to government. However, Brahmanandam agreed to apologize and not to repeat the act. Mohan Babu moved Supreme Court over the matter. As of now, the matter is sub judice as SC is dealing the case.

Is Balayya Blasting Out At Jr NTR?

Nandamuri scion Balakrishna has filed his nomination today for Hindupru assembly ticket and vowed that he will soon make the constituency emerge as a special district with NTR's name. More than that, he took indirect pot shots at Nandamuri family members too.

Citing this move as yet another historical step in his life, a second phase for him after acting, Balayya promised that he will work hard for development of this constituency that sent legendary NTR to assembly. When the actor is prolifically explaining his agenda for the elections, media quizzed him about Jr NTR who is not taking part in election campaigns of Telugudeasam till date. 'Nandamuri family members will not be invited with flowers and fruits. As a family member, it is their duty to come voluntarily and work for the victory of party', said Balayya.

In directly this looks like serious blasting to actor Jr NTR who is from a time waiting for Naidu and Balayya's invitation to take part in TDP's political campaigns. Also with his father Hari Krishna not getting ticket to contest in 2014 elections, probably Junior will not be stepping in. Let us see if he reacts about Balayya's comments.

Although, the remuneration of NTR is yet to be fixed but they would be doling out 50 crores to produce a big budget flick with Nandamuri star after roping in a top director and actress. Muhurat Fixed for Balayya

Finally, the most-awaited moment for Nandamuri fans has come. Their favourite matinee idol Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to file his nomination for Hindupur Assembly constituency. The Muhurat has been fixed by his trusted priests. And the D-day is April 16, Wednesday, i.e Tomorrow. Balakrishna is going to submit his nomination to Election Commission officials in Hindupur sharply at 11.31 AM.

Before doing it, the star hero will be performing puja at famous Suguru Anjaneya Swamy Temple and later on go in a rally to file his nomination.He has already recieved his B-form on Monday from his own brother-in-law and TDP chief N. Chandra Babu Naidu.

Official: Pawan to Campaign for BJP-TDP

As buzzed, Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan will be undertaking a whirlwind tour to promote BJP and its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi from Tuesday in Telangana. Both Jana Sena Party and BJP have confirmed the tour and revealed the tour schedule.
 
Representatives of Modi along with AP BJP and T-BJP leaders have met Pawan Today at his Jana Sena office and finalized the move. After getting assurance from BJP that Modi will serve people and take care of their welfare properly, Pawan decided to campaign for them. He will participate in election campaigns in Karnataka state in places like Kolar, Raichur and Gulbarga where there is huge density of Telugu population. Pawan's dynamic team is said to be making arrangements, says Jana Sena team, confirming the actor's tour.
 
Although, Pawan campaigning for BJP, in a while it helps Telugu Desam Party too. We hear that already few TDP leaders in Telangana requested Pawan to campaign for them and reportedly Pawan is contemplating to back them.

Prabhas' Lady plays Undercover Agent

After agreed to do a negative role in her ongoing Tamil venture Vai Raja Vai, Taapsee Pannu now turns an undecover agent in her next Hindi Project to be directed by Neeraj Pandey and has Akshay Kumar playing the protagonist. Buzz is that Akshay too playing secret agent in the film. Given that Neeraj-Akki's previous venture Special Chabbis was blockbuster, there are high expectations on this untitled film.

Mr Perfect actress (Starring Prabhas in lead) has been going through rough phase and that seems to have compelled her to eye image-makeover roles. Her Muni 3 too has different shades and has scope to showcase her prowess. Looks like, Punjabi kudi is leaving no brick unturned to make her own mark in showbiz. But luck, success have been eluding her for a while. Wish Taapsee will be back with a bang.

Official: Jr Allu Arjun named as Allu Ayaan

Here comes the Mega news that stylish hero Allu Arjun's son is finally christened with a cool and stylish name. He is named as Ayaan, which means Gift Of God. Sources close to the Allu family revealed that Bunny and Sneha wanted something stylish for their son to be named and zeroed on this one. Like the name Allu Arjun (AA), the proud couple wanted to repeat the same initials, and so it is Allu Ayaan (AA).

Looks like Bunny hasn't worried much about astrology and star sign to name his son as per the letter indicated by stars. Earlier too the star hero confirmed that he isn't worried about 'Jyotishyam' to name his son.
 
Allu Arjun and SnehaReddy got married on March 8th 2011 and they are blessed with baby boy on April 3rd 2014 night at 11.22 pm.

Nag should shun character roles ?

Agreed that Nagarujuna's last few films like 'Greekuveerudu' and 'Bhai', tanked at the box office, but Nagarjuna shouldn't lose his track and jump into character roles bandwagon, says a distributor. Since even his colleauge Venkatesh realised his mistake of doing 'Seethamma..' and jumped out of 'Govindudu Andari..', since his stardom was getting affected. Even today, Nagarjuna market is around 15 crore plus and could coolly do a matured or different love story or a family drama and pull in crowds, since his pet fan following of girls, women and family audience are intact. 

Just a matter of time, before he bounced back into reckoning, until they shouldn't do brotherly roles with NTR or anyone else?

Race Gurram Movie Review

Allu Arjun's Race Gurram showed so much promise with the trailers and audio. Surender Reddy's previous film Oosaravelli failed to entertain. He is back to Kick mode in this film. Did he get it right this time? Did this horse win the Race?

What is it about?

Lucky (Allu Arjun) is a happy go lucky guy who doesn't like his elder brother Ram (Kick Shyam) at all. Ram is a police officer and Lucky is a mischief monger. One of Lucky's naughty acts saves Ram from a fatal accident. Ram isn't aware of that, but Lucky comes to know that a politician Shiva Reddy (Ravi Kishan) is trying to kill his brother. Lucky confronts Shiva Reddy and then starts the race.

Performances:                                                                            
Allu Arjun owned this film in each and every frame. He just sleepwalked through the film with an amazing ease. He has excelled in comedy with impeccable timing. Deyvudaa mannerism will be the buzz word for college youth for sure. Allu Arjun did a Raviteja in terms of energy in this film. This will be remembered as one of his best performances. Kick Shyam is good as Bunny's brother. He has limited expressions though. Shruti Haasan is alright. Her dances will surprise one and all. She just mastered the mass dance moves.

Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan is one of the weak links of this film. He failed to impress in the key scenes. A powerful villain could have done world of good to this film. Prakash Raj's role was weird and abruptly ended. Brahmanandam steals the show in the penultimate scenes. Tanikella Bharani, Posani, JP, MS everyone chipped in whenever required.

Surender Reddy is at home dealing with comedy scenes. He made more action films in his career, but Surender offers quality comedy. There are few hilarious scenes in the film. However director failed to get the balance right. Comedy, Sentiment and Action didn't go hand in hand. Music by Thaman is good. Two songs stand out in the film. Boochade and Cinema Choopista are instant chartbusters. Background score is not up to the mark. Action is loud. They should have composed some decent fights. Those explosive action episodes are out of sync with rest of the movie. Cinematography is good. Editing could have been better.

Analysis:

Race Gurram has its positives and also has its share of negatives. This film is strictly one time watch for those are craving for entertainment. Movie lovers may not be pleased with this pop corn entertainment and the film that doesn't take itself seriously. Penultimate scenes looks like they are straight out of some parody film ala Hrudaya Kaleyam.

Leave your brains at home is the theme of this film and don't ever look for logic or you will be left deeply hurt. The makers took the audience's thinking capabilities for granted and churned out some illogical and sometimes overtly stupid scenes. Allu Arjun has come to the rescue of the film at many instances. He single handedly pulled the film to the climax.

Ever reliable Brahmanandam took it off from there to make it an average fare. You have seen it all before. There is nothing that is better or new in this film. Most of Raviteja's movies are made this way. If you want to see someone like Bunny in a Raviteja brand mass entertainer, then this film is exactly for you. Releasing during the peak summer season will help Race Gurram's prospects at box office. We expect more from this promising combination, but what they offered was an average comedy entertainer with a silly antagonist.

Pawan Kalyan - The Mute Spectator Finally?

Irrespective of what he is discussing about politics, what is the use of launching a political party in the first case if he is not motivating youths for 2014 elections? This is what many are asking about Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan at the moment.

Reacting heavily with a broken heart regarding the way Andhra Pradesh is bifurcated, Pawan Kalyan stated that he is starting Jana Sena to 'question' the politicians who play with lives of people. He announced that Jana Sena will play a constructive and active role in regional politics, by pointing out issues in both Telugu states. At the time when Pawan is expected to announce his list of candidates after his first meeting, his second one has given the perfect twist.

Stressing that he is not interested to split votes, Pawan declared that there is no question of contesting in 2014 elections. Surprisingly he extended his support to Narendra Modi and later confirmed in an interview that his support will get extended to TDP indirectly. With that many fans got disappointed as Pawan will be literally away from assembly or parliament where he would have definitely questioned rulers and opposition members. However, Pawan is expected to hold meetings at different parts of two states and motivate youths about voting the right one to power.

As the powerful hero of Tollywood has completely taken a backseat without a question of anything regarding polls, undeniably it is him who became a mute spectator in witnessing AP politics. Because, starting a political party is not a big thing but running it through ebb and flow is the main criteria here, where his brother Chiranjeevi failed miserably. At least Chiru played the game half and declared his inability, but in a way it looks like Pawan has given up even before the match is started. What is the mute spectator has to say now?
