Nandigama MLA Prabhakar Rao No More

Two-time MLA from TDP, Nandigama sitting MLA Tangirala Prabhakar Rao has breathed his last on Sunday late night. 64-year-old Tangirala had been active on Sunday. Tangirala was with Major Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma throughout the day and duo monitored the works of Pulichintala Project. Tangirala accompanied Devineni Uma till 9 PM on Sunday. Later Tangirala reached his home, had dinner and slept. His son Nani was with him. After a while, Tangirala had vomited what he had eaten. 

Personal security of Tangirala had called up on local doctor and he said Tangirala's condition was serious and rushed him to nearby hospital. Within few minutes after reaching hospital, Tangicharla had breathed his last. Doctors declared him dead at 11.45 PM on Sunday. Tangirala was yet to take oath as MLA. Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has expressed his deep condolences to bereaved family. Minister Devineni Uma expressed his shock, grief over Tangirala's passing away.

Born in Paritala village of Kanchikacharla Mandal in Krishna district, Tangicharla was an advocate. He earlier served as Mandal President, ZPTC member before becoming MLA in 2009. He was survived by two daughters and one son. Elder daughter is software engineer in Bangalore, while younger daughter is Bank employee. His son Nani has completed BED. Tangirala's wife Prameela Rani was Bank Manager and she too died sometime back. Tangirala had been suffering from High BP and Sugar for a while
