While the news about his acting debut has been hitting headlines for sometime, at last, he has zeroed in on two-film-old director Srikanth Addala who shot to fame with films like SVSC and Kotta Bangaru Lokam. Although Srikanth was initial option for Varun, things didn't work out initially and the project has been kept on hold since then. Afterwards, directors Puri Jagannath and Krish have come to the picture, but they too walked out of it. At a stage, Krish was about to launch Varun and Ashwini Dutt supposed to produce the film. Even the news was confirmed formally and Varun posted it on his twitter page. Unexpectedly, it was stalled due to reasons better known for them.
Finally, Srikanth is going to introduce Varun Tej. Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Srinivas alias Bujji are jointly producing this youthful romance. Mickey J Meyer, who earlier composed music for Srikanth's films will also render music for this film too. Heroine and other details are yet to be finalized. Hope the New Year and new tidings bring smile on Varun's face.
