Right now, Mahesh bagged highest Hindi dubbing right for "Aagadu" which fetched Rs. 4 crore, but surely Charan is closely behind his arch rival Ram Charan Tej, whose film "Govindu...' was sold for Rs. 3.5 crore, which is 50 lakhs lesser than highest price till date. Even though, their Telugu markets have a difference of atleast 8 to 10 crores, but when it comes to Hindi dubbing rights, Charan is closely behind T-town superstar. It seems that Hindi film "Zanjeer' although was a flop, but it gave some recognition for scion of Chiru family. May be, sooner than later, Charan could touch Mahesh figure in next few films or Mahesh will stay ahead even in dubbing market rates, which would be interesting to watch out for.

This time, the Dookudu star will sing song in his much awaited film Aagadu being directed by Sreenu Vytla. Mahesh has always been quite particular about his scripts and he would give the nod only after he was totally convinced. He would make his fans wait for a couple of years before any of his films hit the screens. But now the scenario is totally different. He is signing films left, right and center.
While this is good news for his fans and producers, one is left wondering as to how Mahesh will accommodate dates for all of them. At the most, he will be able to do two films in a year. But if one goes through the list of film-makers who had narrated scripts to him and got his approval, it is rather exhaustive.
Koratala Siva, Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK, Krish are among those who have Mahesh’s approval. Meanwhile, Mahesh has promised to do a film with Sukumar. We have been hearing reports about Mahesh Babu doing a film under Mani Ratnam's direction. Media reports read that this film is a multi-starrer in which Nagarjuna is playing an important character. However, Mahesh Babu made it clear that no one has approached him regarding this.

Sankranthi season is over and we have a clear winner in Yevadu. Despite releasing with low expectations compared to 1 Nenokkadine and in less theaters, Yevadu managed to overtake the former in first week. Nenokkadine managed to collect a share of Rs. 25 crore worldwide in its first week. Yevadu got 36.5 crores plus first week share worldwide taking it to the second spot in all time best openers.
Attarintiki Daredi is sitting high and firm at the top place with a first week share of Rs. 48 crore. Yevadu would have reached Rs. 40 crore mark if it was released in more theaters. Despite releasing in less number of theaters compared to recent biggies took the box office by storm. 1 Nenokkadine has to collect Rs. 58 crore from the theatricals to breakeven and it looks impossible from this point.
Yevadu on the other hand has high chances to make it to Rs. 50 crore club. We have to wait and see how this film holds in the second week especially in the week days. There are no new releases in this week and audience are left with only Pongal films.
