It's common knowledge by now that Mahesh Babu, had thought of teaming up with director Puri Jaganndah, soon after his present commitment Aagadu with Srinu Vytla. But destiny has other plans for Mahesh. Owing to his contract with UTV films, Mahesh Babu has to begin working on their project with director Koratala Siva which was announced much earlier. With this, Puri Jagan has to wait for a while to direct Mahesh.
Puri, who is known for wrapping up projects at a breakneck speed, has decided to do a film before his project with Mahesh takes off. He is going to direct none other than Jr NTR. Puri and NTR, who haven't joined their forces after debacle of Andhrawala (ten years ago in 2004), have now decided to break that jinx. Puri has apparently narrated a story line to NTR who quite impressed with it.NTR has given a go-ahead to Puri, if rumour mills are anything to go by.NTR, who is currently sweating out for Santosh Srinivas' Joru (tentative title), may finish it by the end of April. It's a cake walk for Puri to get ready by April as he finishes a script within 20 days. If all goes well, this project will go onto floors from May. It's not clear who is going to produce the film and other cast. So, NTR is first for Puri and Mahesh is second as per the commitments. Meanwhile, directors Sukumar, Koratala Siva and Vamsi Paidipally too busy weaving stories for NTR. Despite going through rough phase, NTR is hot cake for the top directors in tinsel ville.

Come 2014, it's a sigh of relief for Varun Tej, son of Naga Babu and cousin of Ram Charan, as his debut movie is going onto the floors from January 1.
While the news about his acting debut has been hitting headlines for sometime, at last, he has zeroed in on two-film-old director Srikanth Addala who shot to fame with films like SVSC and Kotta Bangaru Lokam. Although Srikanth was initial option for Varun, things didn't work out initially and the project has been kept on hold since then. Afterwards, directors Puri Jagannath and Krish have come to the picture, but they too walked out of it. At a stage, Krish was about to launch Varun and Ashwini Dutt supposed to produce the film. Even the news was confirmed formally and Varun posted it on his twitter page. Unexpectedly, it was stalled due to reasons better known for them.Finally, Srikanth is going to introduce Varun Tej. Tagore Madhu and Nallamalapu Srinivas alias Bujji are jointly producing this youthful romance. Mickey J Meyer, who earlier composed music for Srikanth's films will also render music for this film too. Heroine and other details are yet to be finalized. Hope the New Year and new tidings bring smile on Varun's face.
