Mahesh Babu Quits Mani Ratnam Movie!!

An interesting and yet shocking development is being heard about ace Indian film maker Mani Ratnam's movie that is to feature both Superstar Mahesh and romantic hero Nagarjuna in the leads. Also big names like Aishwarya Rai, Shruti Haasan and Asin are heard regarding this project. Here is a quick update about this colourful movie.

For the second time in his career, Mahesh is dropping out from being part of Mani Ratnam's movie, say sources. Though Nagarjuna is working with Mani in the projects, it appears like only Mahesh Babu is out of it. Already the makers are searching for a suitable hero to be brought into Mahesh's shoes. Being a film of top stars and by acclaimed director, why did Mahesh opt out of it? as per reports, Mahesh is unable to provide the huge chunk of dates demanded by Mani Ratnam. After wrapping up of Aagadu, Mahesh needs to work on UTV-Koratala Siva project, and then he got a film with Puri Jagan in the pipeline. If Mahesh allots dates for Mani Ratnam's movie, then he will not be able to work on both UTV project and Puri's own production.

Citing his inability to adjusts dates, it is heard that Mahesh bid adieu to Mani Ratnam's movie. Earlier too, our superstar is supposed to drop in a period flick directed by Mani, but he opted out of it due to creative issues. But Mani hasn't took off that project with any other hero

Mahesh Babu 'One' More- Pawan Kalyan 'One And Half'

It is a common expectation from the cine buffs that stars with high box office stamina like Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan must come up with more number of films in an year. Given the way both have been on a signing spree, that expectation rose but then it looks like the year 2014 doesn’t have much to offer.

As of now, Mahesh is expected to come with ‘Aagadu’ in the month of September. It was reported that he has a project with Puri Jagannadh and Mani Ratnam as well but till now no official announcement has come. If it is Puri then there is a chance since he is quick in wrapping films. But he is going ahead with a young hero.

Already, Mahesh has come with ‘One’ this year. As for Pawan, sources reveal he will come in ‘Oh My God’ remake from interval so that would be half and then he will be seen in ‘Gabbar Singh 2’ which is confirmed for arrival this year. So, it would be a one and half treat from him.   Let’s hope fans make do with this then.

Mahesh Babu is locked

We have been hearing various reports about Mahesh Babu's next film after Aagadu. Puri Jagannadh has been stressing that his film will start off after Mahesh is done with Aagadu. On the other hand we are repeatedly hearing latest updates about Mani Ratnam's multi-starrer, which is yet to be confirmed officially.

But all those films can wait for some time. Why because Mahesh Babu has to start shooting for UTV Films movie immediately after Aagadu. Mahesh has reportedly signed a contract with UTV to do his next to them. As per the contract he will have to take up UTV film before moving on to other projects.

So Koratala Shiva's film which was kept on hold till now moves ahead of Puri and Mani Ratnam movies. Regular shooting of Koratala's film will start in May and Mahesh will work on Aagadu and this film until he is done with the former. As per the latest development Puri Jagannadh's film may get bit delayed. So Koratala's second film as director will be with Mahesh and his third will be with NTR. No change in that order.

Aishwarya Rai set to shake T'wood

http://chithralahari2025.blogspot.in/
Aishwarya Rai is all set to sizzle in Telugu films. She has signed two big-ticket Telugu films on the dotted line. Of course, for heft pay cheques. With one being Mani Ratnam's film where she will be paired opposite Tollywood Manmadhudu Nagarjuna and shares screen space with Mahesh Babu, the other film is director P.Vasu's Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Both these films will have a simultaneous release in Telugu.

Going by tinsel town buzz, director Vasu, of Chandramukhi fame, has penned an impressive periodic script for Ash. Tipped to be a female-centric film, Ash essays a mighty role where she will be seen riding horses, doing sword fights. The movie is to be made with animatronics along with high-end visual effects. Tech experts from France are being roped in to design top notch graphics, special effects for this high-budget flick. The yet-to-be-titled film will be shot in the hill stations in North India and in the locales of Cambodia. Ash is likely to undergo special training in stunts for this film. Ramesh, of Global One Studios, is producing this film. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalized.

The cat-eyed beauty is returning to showbiz after her long hiatus due to the birth of baby Aaradhya Bachchan. Well, one is wondering why Ash making her comeback with South. Aishwarya Rai with Nag, Mahesh Babu!

Aishwarya Rai, who has been taking a break from acting post birth of Aaradhya Bachchan, is all set to make a comeback. But the news is that she is making a bigger, grand reentry. Buzz is that Aishwarya is going to join with a Mani Ratnam film. Rumour mill says that Aishwarya has been signed for Mani Ratnam's next.

Interestingly, the movie stars Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu in pivotal roles, say reports. Talk is that Aishwarya would pair up with Nagarjuna in the film. However, the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu is not yet finalized. Strangely, Mani hasn't cast Abhishek Bachchan who earlier teamed up with him in Guru and Raavan, as the proposed project is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The yet-to-be-titled film is rumoured to be adaptation of classic Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan. However, Mani Ratnam hasn't revealed whether this is a new story or adaptation of the proposed novel. Considering that Nagarjuna's previous combination with Mani Ratnam, Geetanjali, is a classic and this is first time combo with Mahesh Babu, expectations on this film are way too high even before a formal announcement.

Currently in pre-production phase, the proposed movie is expected to roll on from September or October. If all goes well, Telugu audiences could watch Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Aishwarya Rai in single frame. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
