Here is the first talk of Venkatesh and Meena starrer Drushyam, which is the Telugu remake of Malayalam film of the same name. Given that the original film was a huge hit and grossed over Rs 50 Crore in Malayalam, the movie garnered much hype and buzz in Telugu as well. While Venkatesh steps into the shoes of Mohanlal, Meena, who was part of original, plays the same role in this film as well.Drushyam begins with Rambabu (Venkatesh) waiting in a police station. As he recollects the series of past events in his mind, the movie is narrated. Simply, put Drushyam is a crime mystery laced with family drama. Nadhiya, who played Pawan Kalyan's Atta in Attarintiki Daaredi, is surprise package in the film. She will be seen in a good role again. Director Sripriya didn't strain her brain much as she strictly followed the original film. Story-screenplay by Jeethu Joseph deserves special mention.Although the story is predictable, what engages you till the end is its narration. Save few laughs in the first half; credit: Sapthagiri, the movie has its own share of lag moments. As the movie progresses towards the end, it concludes with a nice twist. And that twist is worth waiting for over two hours.

Agreed that Nagarujuna's last few films like 'Greekuveerudu' and 'Bhai', tanked at the box office, but Nagarjuna shouldn't lose his track and jump into character roles bandwagon, says a distributor. Since even his colleauge Venkatesh realised his mistake of doing 'Seethamma..' and jumped out of 'Govindudu Andari..', since his stardom was getting affected. Even today, Nagarjuna market is around 15 crore plus and could coolly do a matured or different love story or a family drama and pull in crowds, since his pet fan following of girls, women and family audience are intact.

Director Dolly, who made Tadakha with Naga Chaitanya and Suneel, is likely to wield the megaphone. Tipped to be a satirical-comedy drama, the film is inspired from original Australian film Man who sued God.Strong sources close to unit of Oh My God remake revealed that the makers are contemplating to rope in Nayantara as her dates are readily available. Pawan has agreed to play Lord Krishna's role in the remake of superhit Hindi movie 'Oh My God'. But as he brought his Jana Sena onto the table all of a sudden, all plans got changed and there was a talk that even he opted out from this movie. It is also heard that Tamil hero Vikram is roped in for the flick.Applying brakes to all speculations, Pawan Kalyan has agreed to play the flute from May in the role of Lord Krishna, as the shooting of 'Ori Devuda' (tentative title) will take off then. Probably he will allot dates to 'Gabbar Singh 2', once he wraps his work with good friend Venkatesh.

Now, with none other than Pawan, who rose to super stardom, giving go-ahead to multi-starrer, this is expected to set a new precedent in Tollywood. After the success of Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Telugu actor Venkatesh has done another multi-starrer movie titled Masala, which features young actor Ram alongside him.
The Victory star, who has already scored two hits like Nuvvu Naku Nachav and Malliswari with K Vijaya Bhaskar, has teamed up again with the director for the third time for this movie, which is the remake of hit Hindi film Bol Bachchan. Written and directed by Rohit Shetty, Bol Bachchan was a romantic comedy movie with all other commercial ingredients.
Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan had played the lead roles in the movie. Now, Venkatesh and Ram are reprising the roles of Ajay-Abhi respectively in its Telugu version Masala, which features Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee as their love interests. Jaya Prakash Reddy, Ali, MS Narayana, Kovai Sarala and Brahmanandam are playing other important roles in the film.
Jointly produced by Daggubati Suresh Babu and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, the film Masala has released in theares across the globe today (November 14). Yet another multi-starrer movie in Tollywood is going to the sets. Venkatesh and Ram Charan are acting together in a family entertainer to be directed by Krishnavamsi. This news has been doing rounds but it has now been confirmed. Producer Bandla Ganesh confirms that the film will go to the sets soon. In an press note, he said that the film will be made with a big budget and best technicians will be working for it. There were reports that Venky might drop from the project but it turned out to be not true. This is the first time that Charan is acting in a multi-starrer, while this is going to be third such film for Venky afterSVSC and Masala. The film is yet to be titled and other cast and crew is yet to be finalized.
