With the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh is imminent as it is just matter of days, and June 2 being the Formation Day of both Seemandhra (residuary state of AP) and Telangana, the big question on everyone's lips is what is the new capital for Seemandhra. It is common fact that many cities and towns like Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Guntur, Prakasam, Kurnool and Tirupathi are in fray. The Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) has done its own research and submitted a detailed report to sub-committee on the new capital for Seemandhra. DTCP officials have studied the locations of Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Donakonda in Prakasam district, Hanuman Junction in Krishna district and Nagarjuna Sagar in Guntur district.According to its preliminary report, Vizag, Kurnool and Donakonda in Praksam could be ruled out as the officials found it "difficult" to setup Capital there. Going by report, Vizag's geographical disadvantages acting as stumbling block for it whereas the officials found that Kurnool will face inundation problem and Donakonda is too remote place. DTCP officials have predicted better chances for both Hanuman Junction and Nagarjuna Sagar in Guntur district. While Hanuman Junction is located on Gannavaram-Nuziveedu stretch and equi distant from Vijayawada and Eluru, Nagarjuna Sagar is likely to have rich water resources. TDP top brass confirmed to Gulte.com that Gannavaram-Nuziveedu stretch would be the new capital. Efforts are being done to set up new capital city in between Gannavaram-Nuziveedu stretch, say top sources. Also, Gannavaram airport is likely to be renovated on par with global standards soon. Meanwhile buzz is that PM designate Narendra Modi, who is going to swear-in on May 26, is likely to make a big statement over Seemandhra very soon after taking the charge as PM. Modi is expected to announce a big financial package for Seemandhra. Chandra Babu-Modi's bonding is said to be come in handy for Seemandhra people. On flip side, huge efforts are in place to simultaneously develop Guntur, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Kurnool, Prakasam and Nellore into new destinations for MNCs, education hubs (IIT, IIM), Sea ports, financial centres, Central research institutes respectively. TDP-BJP combine seems to be keen to keep its word and totally relying on development plank. Looks like, good days are ahead for Seemandhra.

According to highly reliable sources in TDP, actor-turned-politician Murali Mohan, who won as Rajahmundry MP in recent Lok Sabha polls, is all set for bigger role in Narendra Modi's government. Sources confine that Murali Mohan would be given a Central Ministry in Modi's cabinet. Meanwhile, senior most TDP leader Ashok Gajapathi Raju is in race for Cabinet berth in Modi's cabinet.
Murali Mohan recently met Narendra Modi along with TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu and Modi apparently given assurance to Murali Mohan on allotting helping Ministry. Murali Mohan has been a staunch TDP supporter and he lost to Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar in 2009 elections with a very slender majority.Looks like, good days are ahead for Murali Mohan. Unlike before, TDP is expected to play a larger role in NDA and BJP's government this time around considering the bond Modi and Babu share. Let's see how far Modi-Babu combine work for newly formed Seemandhra.

One of those big rumours that is doing rounds in Film Nagar from a while is about upcoming young hero Akhil Akkineni's dream debut on Telugu silver screen. Big news is that he will be seen in a miniscule role in Legend ANR's last movie 'Manam'. With release date inching fast, Gulte.com tried to find out what exactly is true about this news.
To make things pretty clear, Akhil is not debuting on silver screen with 'Manam'. Maybe he will be seen in the making video of the movie, but he is not playing any bit-role or guest-appearance in the movie that features ANR, Nag and Chaitu. In fact, Akhil has visited the sets of Manam on the last day of shoot of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. The whole Akkineni family visited the sets that day as they want to see ANR's performance under arc-lights for one last time. But that day, Samantha tweeted that Akhil is on sets and that led to belief that he is acting in 'Manam'. Otherwise, Akkhil is just waiting for the right script to make his debut and that takes place post release of 'Manam' like Nagarjuna said it many times earlier.

Senior Congress leader from Telangana V. Hanumantha Rao, who lost in assembly election in Amberpet constituency to BJP president Kishan Reddy, has breathed fire on Jagan Reddy on his meeting with PM designate Narendra Modi. V.H alleged that Jagan met Modi only to get rid of the umpteen corruption cases he is battling with. V.H appealed to Modi and BJP leaders to keep Jagan at a distance.
That's not all. V. Hanumantha Rao appealed to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan openly that he should refer to Modi over Jagan's corruption scandals. V.H said, "Pawan Kalyan must take up the issue of Jagan and refer to Modi so that Jagan be sent to jail." V.H's appeal to Pawan is certainly stunning as a senior leader like V.H is appealing to Pawan Kalyan who hasn't even contested in elections. This once again proves how capable, committed Pawan Kalyan is and his contact with Narendra Modi.
