It's a busy Tuesday for birthday boy-'Legend' Balakrishna who recently donned into new role as Member of Legislative Assembly representing Hindupur Constituency. The day incidentally happens to be the successful 50th Day of his recent blockbuster Legend and 54th birthday of him. Balayya had a quite hectic schedule yesterday, meeting his fans from various parts of the two States, partyworkers from Hyderabad, Hindupur and posing pictures with them, cutting cakes and celebrating every moment with his near and dears. Yet it didn't deter Balayya to participate in the celebrations of Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Celebrating with kids, patients and doctors of the hospital, Chairman of Cancer Hospital Balayya spent extra-time with kids, patients. He offered special gifts to kids. Speaking to media, Balayya made it clear that he gently "declined" the Cabinet minister post. Balayya said that there only two things in his mind presently - 1. To solve all the problems in Hindupur and 2. To establish a new branch of Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital in Andhra Pradesh. Balakrishna said that he would discuss the latter point in boardroom meeting and find a suitable location to set up new branch of Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Seemandhra.Balayya said that he chalked out a special plan to eradicate drinking water scarcity problem in Hindupur. He said that he hold deliberations with booth-level partyworkers to solve various issues. Meanwhile, Balayya have big plans for Hindupur. Since Hindupur in Anantapur district is close to Bangalore, software destination, he want to develop Hindupur into a Hardware hub. Balakrishna is keen to invite top MNCs to set up in Hindupur and offer jobs to local youth. He said that he is going to set up NTR Skill Development Institute in Hindupur which train youth in required technical skills and to meet industrial needs. Balayya thanked all his fans, well-wishers, partyworkers. On parting note, Balayya said he is fortunate to play 3 'Big' roles in his life as MLA, Chairman of Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, and as Film Star. That's Balayya Babu.

There is no suspense about Pawan Kalyan's next two outings. Gopala Gopala and Gabbar Singh 2 are the projects that will keep Pawan busy until next summer. Who is going to direct Pawan's next film after Gabbar Singh 2? Pawan hasn't yet found any director for this film, which will be produced by Potluri Vara Prasad.
Pawan Kalyan and PVP want this film to be a big one and they are not settling for any young directors. They want a big name to be associated with the film to make it a crazy project. But none of the star directors will be free by that time to work on this film. Trivikram has Allu Arjun's film followed by Mahesh's movie.Srinu Vytla will be busy with Ram Charan's film by that time. Rajamouli wouldn't be done with Bahubali until the first quarter of 2016. All the top directors have prior commitments and no one is working on a script for Pawan Kalyan's film yet. Pawan wants to start that film immediately after Gabbar Singh 2, but as of no star director is readily available for him.

Ulavacharu Biryani directed by ace actor Prakash Raj is releasing on Friday. The film is premiered to press and film celebrities at Prasadz multiplex on Thursday evening. Ulavacharu Biryani is a remake of Malayalam film Salt and Pepper. Prakash Raj, Sneha, Tejass and Samyuktha played the lead roles and music was scored by Ilayaraja.
The film is carrying average to below average reports from the premiere show. As per reports, first half of the movie was okay with few good moments, but second half was major let down. Prakash Raj is expecting this film to give him break as a director. His previous film Dhoni was a disappointment.Looks like Prakash Raj has to wait for another movie to prove his capabilities as a director. This slow paced and predictable old school romance is getting thumbs down from the media circles as well as other people that watched the premiere. Not even Ilayaraja could save the day, they said. Tough luck Prakash Raj!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-designate and TDLP Leader Nara Chandra Babu Naidu has recalled his College Days during his election as TDLP leader on Wednesday at Senate Hall in Sri Venkateswara University. Reminiscing the good old days, Babu said that he still remember the days at College while he was pursuing his MA, Economics in 1972. He said he forayed into politics in 1978 while doing Research Scholorship after MA at SVU.Chandra Babu recalled that he used to spend a lot of time at Cycle Shed in University and roam around the campus on his bike by making noise without silencer. Babu said that he hailed from a typical middle-class family. He could not have studied if there was no Venkateswara University as he could not have afford education at Chennai then. He gave credit for Lord Venkateswara for his education, political career.

Now that Telangana State has been carved out of Andhra Pradesh, cutting short mother State to 13 districts, all eyes are on the New Capital for Seemandhra.While TDP top brass is sending out signals that new capital would set up between Vijayawada and Guntur, the latest statement of Union Urban Minister Venkaiaha Naidu set tongues wagging in AP.
Venkaiaha Naidu hinted that new capital of Seemandhra would be small unlike twin cities Hyderabad-Secunderabad. The new capital, according to his idea, is to be utilized for administrative purpose whereas other cities in Seemandhra should be developed into Metros. Naidu also made it clear that Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali will be connected through Metro Rail Project and granted another Metro Rail Project to Visakhapatnam.
Going by reports, the new capital would be close to the border of Kurnool- Prakasam districts in order to pacify people of Rayalaseema. There is buzz that Capital might remain Naam Ke Vasthe if it is announced in Prakasam as Industries, growth would be focused more in Vijayawada, Guntur, Vizag and Tirupati. As of now this proposal of Venkaiaha is in nascent phase and the final call will be taken up by AP CM-designate Chandra Babu Naidu.
Minister Gopinath Munde is no more. He had breathed his last this morning after he was critically injured in a road accident in Delhi on Tuesday morning. 64-year-old Munde succumbed to injuries. He was first admitted to Safdarjung Hospital and then shifted to the AIIMS trauma centre. Sources at the AIIMS say Munde's condition was critical when he was brought in. He was brought to hospital at 6.30 AM and he was declared dead at 8.00 AM.
The accident happened when Munde was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International airport to fly to Mumbai. It took place when Munde's car was moving from Lodhi Road towards the Aurobindo Chowk when another vehicle has hit his car from back. Doctors say Munde suffered a heart attack after the accident.Gopinath Munde is the Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Sanitation. He had a victory rally scheduled in Beed and Parali. A senior BJP leader from Maharashtra, Gopi was the State BJP president of Maharashtra. Munde served as Deputy CM for Maharashtra. He was brother-in-law of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan. Munde was supposed to lead the upcoming Assembly elections in Maharashtra. In between, he passed away in a fatal road accident. His last rites will be performed in his village Beed Tomorrow. PM Modi has expressed his deep condolences to bereaved family and termed Munde as great Mass Leader.

K. Chandrasekhar Rao has sworn in as the first Chief Minister of India's 29th State, Telangana at Raj Bhavan today. 60-year-old KCR took oath of office in Telugu along with 11 Cabinet ministers including his son KT Rama Rao and nephew Harish Rao. Mahmood Ali, T. Rajaiah, Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Etela Rajender, Padmarao, Pocharam Sreenivas Reddy, Mahender Reddy, Jogu Ramanna, Jagadeeswar Reddy. Konda Surekha, Swamy Goud, Padma Reddy, Kova Lakshmi, Chandulal were probables who kept away from Cabinet by KCR. Koppula Eeshwar is expected to be made as First Speaker of Telangana.
As KCR was sworn in, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "India gets a new state! We welcome Telangana as our 29th state...Congrats to K Chandrasekhar Rao Garu on taking oath as Telangana's 1st CM. My best wishes to people for the state's development journey."
